Usings its own video channel and a new web site with facts and feature articles, the Church of Scientology wants to give its own part of the story. There are serious accusations against a employee of the Hamurg Senate; a legal complaint is being prepared.

In a pressconference, the Church of Scientology has presented last Thursday, 25 March 2010, its own 40-minutes documentary movie, giving background information about the planned broadcast drama by German National TV ARD.

The movie by ARD shows a drama about a child custody, however the facts showed a rather different sequence of the events. Interiews with the mother and the son it gets visible, that the contact to the father (former member of the Church of Scientology) to the son was going fine, just until the point when the employee of the Hamburg Senate, Ursula Caberta, had started to interfer.

Through a variety of intrigues and influences she tried without success to prevent the contact of mother to son. Courts and the youth welfare office however did oppose. Scientology is confronting the authors of the movie of ARD with accusations of having investigated only half-sided, and having been manipulated by Caberta. Numerous scenes in the movie are simply just wrong. The National Television Station ARD would violate several policies concerning their own broadcasting of information.

The movie by the Church of Scientology will soon be released on a new video channel.(left side image) (http://www.scientology-tv.de/). Using this channel, the Church of Scientology wants to give the public the opportunity to gets its own picture of the affaire. Further feature movies are planned.

Taking another example (Stern TV had presented a completely invented story of a dropout and had to take the movie off the net) the Church of Scientology showed, that also in this case Ursula Caberta has been acting as "intermediate". 

The Church of Scientology wants still this week to file with the City of Hamburg a motion to have the city acknowledge liability of damages. Should these not be acknowledged, it will be enforced via the courts.

Already now 8 out of 22 alleged cases of dropouts have been documented in detail. In these cases Caberta has presented alleged dropouts with faulty stories, established a forum and made them available to various media and authorities. The exact amount of damage claims will be submitted in a separate notion.
